CJ's Tap and Grill: Classic Comfort Food & Craft Beer in Cobourg, ON

My sister and I went for a drive on this beautiful day. We stopped for lunch and had a terrific meal! We would eat here again. We shared dill chips appetizer, I had the taco salad, and she had the 1/2 quesadilla trio. Everything tasted really good and looked amazing.

A good place for a relaxing meal, served in a good environment. Indoor as well as outdoor sitting. Variety of beers on tap and good menu. Friendly staff and lots of free parking.

Excellent staff , very knowledgeable of the menu . Very friendly . The quality of food here is excellent. Their chicken wings are superb . They season them how ever you like . Burgers are excellent as well . Still one of the best restaurants to go to .highly recommend it .

Feeling adventurous, we also tried the mushroom caps and coconut shrimp. Though the food was solid, it had that familiar, mass-produced charm. The true star of the show, however, was the service. The waitstaff worked tirelessly to ensure that every patron's needs were met. Their dedication was as impressive as a tightrope walker balancing on a high wire. That said, a word of caution for those heading to the bathroom: tread with care. While the facilities were functional, they could use a bit of TLC. When I'm in need of an ice cold beer, some good conversation, and the odd chirp I always head to CJ's to see Mike and Carly! When my girls are looking for the best meal I know I will get the best service from the staff at CJ's and our personal favorite Amber! Such a classic spot. The fajitas are always good, nachos are massive and Thursday night is wing night (watch out for the Phils hot sauce) it can come back to haunt you!

Great service with very friendly staff. Food was very well made and flavours were very enjoyable. Had the classic burger. Beef patty tasted fresh and well grilled. Chicken wings were delicious with the spicy honey sauce. Would definitely come back to try a few more things. Highly recommended if visiting Cobourg or just passing through.

It was awesome, and I forgot to take a full plate of food picture as it was to good not to eat first. Three different foods bought and everyone loved what they ordered and how good it was.

2nd visit, first review: august 30, wednesday good food, excellent service and atmosphere is great for meeting friends or dining with family. i had the pleasure of having mel attend to me and my partner. good thing we enjoyed everything she brought out, cause the last time we were here the gf didn't like the taste or feel of the jambalaya (she just reminded me now) and i didn't get to review cj's then.. this was at least a year ago.. today we had the spinach dip with nachos, the chicken pesto penne and steak fajitas.. we had to take some home, that 75 bill is good enough for 3 people eating. ^_^ lots of parking mel and other staff are amazing. would recommend
